Sautéed Beetroot Mallum (Salad)

This colorful and scrumptious Sri Lankan Mallum is 'beet-i-ful' for your taste-buds as well as your body. It is a popular dish in my family and therefore very often found on the table at lunchtime. I just love the way it helps me create a rainbow of food on our plates.

Did you know the traditional way of preparing Sri Lankan mallum is exceptionally healthy due to the specific ingredients (i.e. turmeric, garlic and coconut) and cooking methods that maximize nutrient retention and absorption.
